Privacy

Yakout takes particular care with the protection of your personal data. This policy describes the data we collect, how it is used and your rights, in accordance with Law No. 18-07 of 10 June 2018 on the protection of natural persons in the processing of personal data.

Data we collect

We only collect the data needed to process your order:

• Identity and contact: full name, phone number.
• Delivery: wilaya, commune, address or chosen pickup office.
• Order: items, sizes, colours, amounts, status history.
• Browsing: technical data (IP address, device type) and, where applicable, advertising identifiers linked to campaigns (visit source), used for measurement.

No banking data is collected: payment is made exclusively in cash on delivery. If you leave an order form after entering your phone number, this partial information is kept temporarily so we can reach out, then deleted automatically.

Purposes

Your data is used to: prepare and deliver your order, call you to confirm it, provide tracking and after-sales service, prevent fraud (fake orders), and measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns. We never sell your data and never use it for marketing unrelated to your order.

Data sharing

Your data is shared only with:

• the carrier handling the delivery (name, phone, address, amount to collect);
• our technical providers (site and database hosting);
• advertising platforms (Meta, TikTok), as technical identifiers and hashed data, for conversion measurement.

As some of these providers are located outside Algeria, this transfer is subject to the procedures provided by Law 18-07 with the national data protection authority (ANPDP).

Retention

Order data is kept for as long as necessary for business management and for accounting and tax obligations. Abandoned, unconverted order forms are deleted no later than 30 days after creation.

Your rights

Under Law 18-07, you have the right to access, rectify, object to and delete your data. To exercise these rights, contact us on WhatsApp or by phone, stating your request and your order reference. We respond as quickly as possible.
